This seems like a lot, and I'm sure that this is probably not going to be implemented in v.3 (if at all). And it is just a wish list. Smile

1. MySQL support instead of text-files (or at least the option to do this... all-or-nothing would be fine, though it would be nice to be able to choose exactly which items to store in the database. This would also make a web interface more practical for managing the hubsoft.

2. Word replacement. YnHub does a great job. Ptokax doesn't. verli... needs help.

3. Whitelist on antispam instead of blacklist. This just seems to be more useful than banning all subdomains of a given domain, especially if you're in that domain and an evil competitor is, too... in v.2 it's possible to be kicked for dropping the hub's own address... or inadvertently allowing Evil Competitor #42193 to drop theirs at will. I'd like to allow all subdomains or restrict to just mine. Also, allow/deny on protocol prefixes such as magnet:\\ and http:\\ as well as dchub:\\

4. Better control over antiflood... i.e., more ability to control precision on a per-profile basis.

5. Confirmation of hub config changes (w/ password + reset if challenge fails).

6. UTF-8/16/32 (for being able to filter searches for Russian and Eastern European languages, as well as Chinese, Arabic, Hebrew, and Greek). Not everyone uses ASCII-8 any more, and Windows 1252 likewise doesn't seem to quite cover it. If someone searches in Chinese or Russian, v.2 ignores it and this defeats the purpose of having it.

7. P2P virus check.

8. Client Permit/Ban ... version permit/ban

9. Menus. File -> Quit and Help menus at the very least!

10. A "how to" guide.

11. TTH scanner for fakes... v.2 doesn't seem to catch TTH's.

That's about it.
